We put this page first to help start off the process of planning where you will spend your money, by hopefully grounding the process in giving. And to include the whole family. Start by deciding, between spouses, how much you are able to give for the year. Think of any fundraisers between school, sports, church, Scouts that you may have this year. Review last years spending for ideas. List them out and what date you usually donate.

Next, find a dollar amount, even if its $5 that each of your kids can be in charge of. Let them research and find a cause they want to donate to and put them in charge of donating. Teaching children from a young age to put giving first will help them view money as a blessing to themselves and to others.
