Review the past three months budgets and take the average (each month category added together and divided by three) for each of the Average Budget and Average Spending columns. Review these numbers and see if you can identify any category where you either constantly under budgeted or over budgeted for the past three months. Decide together if you were being too conservative or if you need to make spending adjustments and make the decided changes and note them in the Budget For Next Quarter column. Keep any notes of what you decided to reference for future planning sessions.
